Passing a few landmarks

Today has seen the passing of some interesting landmarks in the the history of Virtual Politics. There are now over 100 members, with 40+ active in the last week. There are now over 100 policies in the directory and over 500 votes have been cast. And there have been over 100 messages sent between members to debate their policies.

Google Adwords usage has settled into to a useful stream of new members, and although this is costing money, it is helping to stimulate debate. There is progress on the site redesign, and I'm trying to work out some of the more useful new features for that at the same time. In order to get some of those in place sooner rather than later, the plan is to convert the site a bit at a time, starting with the front page.
